Great time for a fun Saturday cruise! Traveled just under 200 miles on a loop and checked out miles and miles of twisty backroads and hill climbing fun! We went through Elizabeth Furnace, stopped at Cooters Garage in Luray, then headed out west past Mathias in West Virginia to Lost River State Park; where we drove by Helmick Rock and saw snow on the mountains in the distant west. The farthest end point was at Moorefield where we grabbed lunch and stopped to see Panthera from a nearby scenic overlook. On the return trip we passed through Wardensville before splitting up and hightailing home before the sun set. Perfect outing for our final day of Daylight Savings Time!

Chris was able to join us in his AWD Tercel and it was quite fun to watch him try to keep up with us with the lowest number of cams, lowest HP, no electronic fuel injection, and double the drive axles. He was definitely the downhill champion of the group!

Jimmy brought out his Supercharged AW11 while I brought the FX20 again. We both hardly find time to make any real worthy unofficial road trips in these cars so it’s always a treat that they are primaries for these cruises.
